000 WTPZ45 KNHC 252040 TCDEP5 Remnants Of Julio Discussion Number 5 NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL EP102026 200 PM PDT Tue Aug 25 2026 Satellite and microwave data indicate that the circulation of Julio has opened up into a trough of low pressure. Thus, it is no longer a tropical cyclone, and this is the last NHC advisory. The initial wind speed is set to 40 kt, consistent with the ASCAT-B pass from a few hours ago. The remnant vorticity should wrap into the circulation of Tropical Storm Iselle and totally lose any identity soon.
