Active Systems:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Lala, located a couple hundred miles southeast of Lisianski Island.
Central Pacific (EP90):
Showers and thunderstorms are becoming better organized in
association with a broad area of low pressure located well to the
east-southeast of the Hawaiian Islands. Environmental conditions
appear favorable for further development of this system, and a
tropical depression is expected to form tonight or on Thursday while
the system moves westward to west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph
across the Central Pacific. Interests in the Hawaiian Islands
should closely monitor the progress of this system.
