DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 AM HST (1500 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Norbert was located near latitude 20.5 North, longitude 143.1 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west near 13 mph (20 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue during the next day or so. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual weakening is forecast, and the remnant low is expected to dissipate on Wednesday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- None.
