DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 1100 PM HST (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Norbert
was located near latitude 20.3 North, longitude 141.7 West. The
depression is moving toward the west near 14 mph (22 km/h) and this
motion is expected to  over the next day or so.
 
Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
Continued gradual weakening is forecast and Norbert is expected to
become a post-tropical remnant low tomorrow morning.
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
