At 800 AM PDT (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Irwin was
located near latitude 15.0 North, longitude 124.2 West. Irwin is
moving toward the west near 2 mph (4 km/h), and little motion
is anticipated during the next day or two.

Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph (95 km/h) with higher gusts.
Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 80 miles (130 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1000 mb (29.53 inches).
