DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 800 AM MST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Tina was
located near latitude 19.0 North, longitude 108.7 West. The
depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 7 mph (11
km/h). A turn to the west is expected later today.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 35 mph (55 km/h) with
higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast, and Tina is
expected to become a remnant low tonight or on Tuesday.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).


HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND

RAINFALL:  Tina is expected to produce additional rain accumulations
of up to 1 inch over portions of Colima and western Jalisco states
in Mexico today.
