DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 900 PM MDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Seymour was
located near latitude 14.4 North, longitude 107.1 West. Seymour is
moving toward the west-northwest near 15 mph (24 km/h), and this
general motion is expected continue during the next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 50 mph (85 km/h) with
higher gusts. Additional strengthening is forecast during the next
48 hours, and Seymour is forecast to become a hurricane on Monday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1002 mb (29.59 inches).
