At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Hurricane Lester was located
near latitude 17.9 North, longitude 122.2 West. Lester is moving
toward the west near 14 mph (22 km/h), and this general motion is
expected to continue for the next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds are near 100 mph (155 km/h) with higher
gusts.  Little change in strength is expected today, but slow
weakening should begin by Monday.

Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 25 miles (35 km) from the
center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 105 miles
(165 km).

The estimated minimum central pressure is 978 mb (28.88 inches).
