DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 800 AM PDT (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Agatha was
located near latitude 18.4 North, longitude 128.2 West.  Agatha is
moving toward the west near 13 mph (20 km/h) and this general
motion is expected to continue for the next day or two.

Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts.
Agatha should weaken to a tropical depression later today, and is
likely to become a remnant low by Tuesday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
