DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Agatha was
located near latitude 17.7 North, longitude 125.1 West.  Agatha is
moving toward the west-northwest near 14 mph (22 km/h), and a turn
toward the west at a slightly slower forward speed is expected over
the next 48 hours.

Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts.
Weakening is forecast, and Agatha is likely to become a remnant low
in a couple of days.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1003 mb (29.62 inches).
