DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Enrique was
located near latitude 20.6 North, longitude 136.8 West.  Enrique is
moving toward the west-northwest near 6 mph (9 km/h).  A turn toward
the west and west-southwest is expected during the next day or so,
followed by a slow and erratic motion.

Satellite wind data indicate that the maximum sustained winds are
near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts.  Weakening is forecast
during the next 48 hours, and Enrique is likely to become a
remnant low within the next 24 hours.

Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
