ZCZC MIATWOAT ALL TTAA00 KNHC DDHHMM TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 800 AM EDT TUE AUG 18 2015 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: 1. Thunderstorm activity associated with an area of low pressure located several hundred miles west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands has continued to become better organized this morning. Environmental conditions are conducive for additional development, and only a slight increase in organization would result in the formation of a tropical depression later today while the system moves westward to west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...90 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent 2. A non-tropical area of low pressure is expected to form within a couple of hundred miles of Bermuda over the western Atlantic Ocean in a few days.
