TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Julio, located about 1500 miles east of the Big Island of Hawaii.

1. Shower activity has increased a little in association with a trough
of low pressure located several hundred miles south of Manzanillo,
Mexico.  Slow development of this system is possible during the
next few days while it moves west-northwestward at 10 to 15
mph.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...30 percent.
