LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 22.5 NORTH...LONGITUDE 109.9 WEST. LORENA IS
MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST NEAR 12 MPH...19 KM/H.  THIS GENERAL
MOTION WITH A DECREASE IN FORWARD SPEED IS EXPECTED OVER THE NEXT
COUPLE OF DAYS.  THE CENTER OF LORENA SHOULD BE NEAR OR
OVER THE SOUTHERN BAJA CALIFORNIA PENINSULA LATER TODAY.
 
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS REMAIN NEAR 40 MPH...65 KM/H...WITH HIGHER

BAJA CALIFORNIA PENINSULA...WITH ISOLATED MAXIMUM AMOUNTS OF 10
INCHES POSSIBLE. THESE RAINS COULD PRODUCE LIFE-THREATENING FLASH
FLOODS AND MUD SLIDES.
 
WIND...TROPICAL-STORM-FORCE WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO BEGIN IN THE
WARNING AREA SHORTLY AND COULD CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY.
