AT 200 PM PDT...2100 UTC...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM KRISTY WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 18.2 NORTH...LONGITUDE 106.9 WEST. KRISTY IS
MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST NEAR 12 MPH...19 KM/H. A GENERAL MOTION
BETWEEN THE NORTHWEST AND WEST-NORTHWEST IS ANTICIPATED DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS.  ON THIS TRACK...KRISTY SHOULD BE MOVING AWAY FROM
THE SOUTHWESTERN COAST OF MEXICO...AND THEN MOVE TO THE SOUTH OF
THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA. 
 
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS HAVE INCREASED TO NEAR 45 MPH...75 KM/H...
WITH HIGHER GUSTS. SOME STRENGTHENING IS POSSIBLE DURING THE NEXT
