LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 28.4 NORTH...LONGITUDE 67.5 WEST. KATIA IS
MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST NEAR 9 MPH...15 KM/H.  THIS GENERAL
MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TODAY...FOLLOWED BY A TURN TOWARD THE
NORTH-NORTHWEST AND NORTH TONIGHT AND THURSDAY.  ON THE FORECAST
TRACK...THE CORE OF KATIA IS EXPECTED TO MOVE BETWEEN THE EAST
COAST OF THE UNITED STATES AND BERMUDA TONIGHT AND THURSDAY.
 
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS REMAIN NEAR 105 MPH...165 KM/H...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS.  KATIA IS A CATEGORY TWO HURRICANE ON THE SAFFIR-SIMPSON
HURRICANE WIND SCALE.  GRADUAL WEAKENING IS FORECAST DURING THE
NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.

THE CENTER...AND TROPICAL-STORM-FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 205
