DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 800 AM PDT (1500 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone
Georgette was located near latitude 19.5 North, longitude 129.7
West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west-northwest
near 9 mph (15 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue today.
A turn toward the west is expected on Thursday.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 35 mph (55 km/h) with
higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast during the next 48
hours.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
