DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Odalys was
located near latitude 15.1 North, longitude 130.1 West. Odalys is
moving toward the east-northeast near 3 mph (6 km/h) and this
motion is expected to continue through the next couple of days,
followed by a gradual turn to the northeast late this week.
Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 70 mph (110 km/h)
with higher gusts. Additional strengthening is forecast, and Odalys
could become a hurricane later today or tonight.
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 160 miles (260 km)
from the center.
The estimated minimum central pressure is 994 mb (29.36 inches).
