DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 900 AM MDT (1500 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Kevin
was located near latitude 23.6 North, longitude 114.6 West. The
post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the north-northwest near 7
mph (11 km/h).  A turn toward the northwest is expected later
today.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
Further weakening is expected, and the remnant low is forecast to
dissipate on Sunday.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
