DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 300 AM MDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Greg was
located near latitude 14.6 North, longitude 107.6 West. Greg is
moving toward the west-northwest near 9 mph. A westward to
west-northwestward motion with a slight increase in forward speed
is expected during the next 48 hours. On the forecast track, the
cyclone is expected to move away from southern Mexico.

Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts.
Some strengthening is forecast during the next couple of days.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 35 miles (55 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
