DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Roslyn was
located near latitude 18.8 North, longitude 116.6 West.  A gradual
turn toward the north is expected during the next 24 hours, followed
by a northwestward turn by Thursday.

Maximum sustained winds remain near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher
gusts.  Weakening is forecast, and Roslyn should become a tropical
depression on Wednesday and a remnant low late Wednesday or
Thursday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 140 miles (220 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1003 mb (29.62 inches).
