DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 100 PM PST (2100 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Rick
was located near latitude 18.1 North, longitude 119.1 West. The
low is moving toward the northwest near 8 mph (13 km/h).  A turn
toward the north-northwest and north with a decrease in forward
speed is expected during the next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
Weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and the remnant low
is forecast to dissipate in a few days.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
