DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 400 AM CDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Two-E was located near latitude 13.3 North, longitude 104.0 West. The depression is moving toward the northwest near 6 mph (9 km/h). A slow west-northwestward to northwestward motion is expected today, followed by little motion tonight and Tuesday. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Strengthening is forecast during the next couple of days, and the depression is expected to become a tropical storm later today. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
