Satellite imagery indicates that Kiko has continued to strengthen, and is now a category 4 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale. The satellite-based estimated maximum sustained winds are now near 130 mph (215 km/h). The next advisory will be issued by 5 pm HST (0300 UTC) with the updated forecast.
