DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 500 PM HST (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Lala was
located near latitude 34.3 North, longitude 175.6 West. Lala is
moving toward the northwest near 6 mph (9 km/h). Slow movement
toward the northwest is forecast through the middle of the week.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 60 mph (95 km/h)
with higher gusts. Additional weakening is expected during the next
several days.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 125 miles (205 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 992 mb (29.30 inches).
