At 1100 PM HST (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Lala was
located near latitude 33.3 North, longitude 174.8 West. Lala is
moving toward the north-northwest near 6 mph (9 km/h). A slow
northwestward motion is forecast during the next few days.

Maximum sustained winds are near 65 mph (100 km/h) with higher
gusts. Gradual weakening is forecast during the next several days.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 175 miles (280 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 988 mb (29.18 inches).
