DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 1100 PM AST (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Cindy was
located near latitude 18.7 North, longitude 55.7 West. Cindy is
moving toward the northwest near 17 mph (28 km/h), and a 
northwestward motion with a gradual decrease in forward speed is 
expected during the next couple of days. On the forecast track, 
Cindy should pass well to the northeast of the northernmost Leeward 
Islands.
 
Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph (95 km/h) with higher gusts. 
Weakening is forecast over the next several days, and Cindy could 
degenerate into a trough of low pressure by Tuesday or Wednesday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km) 
from the center, mainly to the east and northeast.
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
