SUMMARY OF 1100 PM HST...0900 UTC...INFORMATION ----------------------------------------------- LOCATION...18.0N 129.3W ABOUT 1300 MI...2090 KM WSW OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS...35 MPH...55 KM/H PRESENT MOVEMENT...NW OR 310 DEGREES AT 12 MPH...19 KM/H MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE...1007 MB...29.74 INCHES WATCHES AND WARNINGS -------------------- There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect. DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 1100 PM HST (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Seven-E was located near latitude 18.0 North, longitude 129.3 West. The depression is moving toward the northwest near 12 mph (19 km/h), and this motion is expected to continue through Monday night, followed by a turn the west by early Tuesday. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Little if any change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours. The depression is expected to be a short-lived tropical cyclone that will degenerate into a remnant low by Tuesday morning. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
