Water levels are beginning to rise along the coast of Texas. A National Ocean Service water level station at Sabine Pass, Texas, recently reported about 2.3 feet of inundation above ground level. The Eugene Island, Louisiana, NOS station recently measured sustained winds of 36 mph (58 km/h) and a gust to 45 mph (72 km/h).
