DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Fabio was
located near latitude 20.6 North, longitude 126.9 West. Fabio is
moving toward the west-northwest near 17 mph (28 km/h).  The
tropical storm is forecast to continue moving west-northwest at a
slower forward speed for the next couple of days, and then turn
toward the west by the end of the weekend.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 50 mph (85 km/h)
with higher gusts.  Additional weakening is forecast and Fabio is
likely to become a tropical depression tonight or tomorrow and
degenerate into a remnant low late Friday or early Saturday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 140 miles (220 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1000 mb (29.53 inches).
