DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Hurricane Fabio was located
near latitude 17.9 North, longitude 121.6 West. Fabio is moving
toward the west-northwest near 15 mph (24 km/h).  A
west-northwestward to northwestward motion at a similar forward
speed is expected to continue for the next several days.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 90 mph (150 km/h)
with higher gusts.  Additional weakening is forecast, and Fabio is
expected to become a tropical storm on Thursday.  Continued
weakening is expected thereafter, and Fabio will likely degenerate
into a remnant low by early this weekend.

Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 35 miles (55 km) from the
center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 175 miles
(280 km).

The estimated minimum central pressure is 974 mb (28.77 inches).
