DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 300 PM MDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Fabio was
located near latitude 12.4 North, longitude 108.4 West. Fabio is
moving toward the west-northwest near 13 mph (20 km/h), and this
general motion is expected to continue for the next few days.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 65 mph (100 km/h)
with higher gusts.  Rapid intensification is forecast during the
next 48 hours, and Fabio is expected to become a major hurricane by
Tuesday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 90 miles (150 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 996 mb (29.42 inches).
