DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 900 AM MDT (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Fabio was
located near latitude 12.0 North, longitude 107.4 West. Fabio is
moving toward the west-northwest near 13 mph (20 km/h), and this
general motion is expected to continue over the next several days.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 50 mph (85 km/h)
with higher gusts.  Rapid strengthening is forecast during the next
couple of days, and Fabio is forecast is forecast to become a
hurricane tonight or early Monday and attain major hurricane
strength by Tuesday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 80 miles (130 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1000 mb (29.53 inches).
