DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 300 AM MDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Fabio was
located near latitude 11.6 North, longitude 106.4 West.  Fabio is
moving toward the west-northwest near 13 mph (20 km/h) and this
general motion is expected to continue through the next several
days.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 40 mph (65 km/h) with
higher gusts.  Steady to rapid strengthening is forecast during the
next few days, and Fabio is forecast to become a hurricane on
Monday and be near major hurricane strength by Wednesday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 70 miles (110 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1003 mb (29.62 inches).
