At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Emilia was
located near latitude 16.8 North, longitude 117.8 West. Emilia is
moving toward the west-northwest near 12 mph (19 km/h), and this
general motion is expected to continue for the next few days.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 45 mph (75 km/h)
with higher gusts. Some weakening over cooler waters is forecast
during the next 48 hours.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 90 miles (150 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1000 mb (29.53 inches).
