DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 500 PM AST (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Lisa was
located near latitude 22.5 North, longitude 36.5 West. The
depression is moving toward the northwest near 7 mph (11 km/h).  A
slightly faster motion toward the west-northwest is are expected
tonight and Saturday.  A turn back toward the northwest and then
toward the north is forecast Saturday night and Sunday.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 35 mph (55 km/h) with
higher gusts.  Additional weakening is expected, and Lisa is
expected to become a remnant low on Saturday.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1009 mb (29.80 inches).
