SUMMARY OF 1100 PM AST...0300 UTC...INFORMATION ----------------------------------------------- LOCATION...34.7N 63.6W ABOUT 180 MI...290 KM NNE OF BERMUDA MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS...35 MPH...55 KM/H PRESENT MOVEMENT...ESE OR 105 DEGREES AT 16 MPH...26 KM/H MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE...1009 MB...29.80 INCHES WATCHES AND WARNINGS -------------------- There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect. DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 1100 PM AST (0300 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Bonnie was located near latitude 34.7 North, longitude 63.6 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the east-southeast near 16 mph (26 km/h). This general motion with some increase in forward speed is expected on Sunday. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. These winds are expected to gradually decrease on Sunday before the system degenerates into a trough. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1009 mb (29.80 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- None.
