SUMMARY OF 800 AM MST...1500 UTC...INFORMATION ---------------------------------------------- LOCATION...22.0N 108.9W ABOUT 90 MI...145 KM SE OF CABO SAN LUCAS MEXICO MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS...35 MPH...55 KM/H PRESENT MOVEMENT...N OR 10 DEGREES AT 7 MPH...11 KM/H MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE...1004 MB...29.65 INCHES WATCHES AND WARNINGS -------------------- There are no coastal watches and warnings in effect. DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 800 AM MST (1500 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Sandra was located near latitude 22.0 North, longitude 108.9 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the north near 7 mph (11 km/h). A turn toward the north-northeast is expected today. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast, and the remnant low of Sandra is expected to dissipate on Sunday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1004 mb (29.65 inches).
