DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK
------------------------------
At 1100 AM AST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Grace
was located near latitude 14.3 North, longitude 42.8 West.  The
depression is moving toward the west near 20 mph (31 km/h), and this
general motion is expected to continue over the next 48 hours.

Satellite data indicate that the maximum sustained winds have
decreased to near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.  Grace is
expected to become a remnant low by Wednesday night, and it could
also degenerate to an open wave during the next few days.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
