Offshore Waters Forecast for Caribbean Sea, and the Tropical N
Atlantic from 07N to 19N W of 55W.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

19N W of 55W

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the western Atlantic is
supporting moderate to fresh trade winds over the eastern
Caribbean. These winds will gradually diminish through the
weekend as the related pressure gradient relaxes. Moderate to 
fresh northeast winds in the northwestern Caribbean will change 
little through early Mon. Winds then increase in the far western 
Caribbean late Wed. Similar winds will occur nocturnally in the 
Windward Passage through Mon. Gentle to moderate trade winds are 
expected elsewhere through the forecast period. Upper- level 
divergence east of an upper-level trough that extends from the 
western Atlantic south to the north-central Caribbean continues to
support numerous showers and thunderstorms north of 15N between 
69W and 75W. This activity is moving eastward, and is producing 
gusty winds and frequent lightning.
