 DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK<br />
 ----------------------<br />
 At 500 AM HST (1500 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Akoni<br />
 was located near latitude 11.2 North, longitude 149.7 West. The<br />
 post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west near 16 mph (26<br />
 km/h), and this motion is expected to continue the next couple of<br />
 days, with some increase in forward speed over the weekend. <br />
 <br />
 Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.<br />
 Little change in strength is forecast during the next couple of<br />
 days.<br />

 The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).<br />
