 .SYNOPSIS...Quiescent conditions are expected to prevail across <br />
 the central and eastern Gulf through the week. <br />
 <br />
 .THIS AFTERNOON...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered<br />
 showers and isolated tstms. <br />
 .TONIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered<br />
 showers and isolated tstms. <br />

 .SYNOPSIS...A frontal boundary will linger across the area <br />
 through today which will bring showers and thunderstorms across <br />
 the area. Otherwise, quiescent conditions will prevail through <br />
 Wednesday. Meanwhile, an area of low pressure is forecast to <br />
 form by midweek a couple of hundred miles north of the <br />
 southeastern or central Bahamas as a tropical wave interacts<br />
 with an upper-level trough. Some gradual development of this<br />
 system  is possible thereafter, and a tropical depression could<br />
 form  later this week while the system moves north-northwestward<br />
 or  northward across the western Atlantic. This system has a low<br />
  chance of formation in the next 48 hours and a medium chance <br />
 through the next 5 days.<br />
