For the eastern and central North Pacific east of 180 longitude:

Central Pacific:
A tropical wave located well east-southeast of the Hawaiian Islands 
is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms.  Environmental 
conditions appear conducive for gradual development of this system, 
and a tropical depression could form early next week while the wave
moves westward or west-northwestward across the central Pacific. 
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...medium...60 percent.

Western East Pacific:
A tropical wave located several hundred miles south-southwest of 
the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula is producing 
disorganized showers and thunderstorms. A low pressure area is 
expected to form from this system by early next week, and 
additional development is possible after that time as the system 
moves west-northwestward.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...low...30 percent.

Southwest of Mexico:
An area of low pressure could form well offshore of the southwestern 
coast of Mexico by the middle of next week. Some gradual 
development of this system is possible thereafter as it moves 
generally west-northwestward.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...low...20 percent.
