RAINFALL: Tropical Depression Cristina is expected to produce rainfall totals of 4 to 8 inches, with maximum totals of 12 inches possible across portions of El Salvador through Thursday night. This rainfall may produce life-threatening flooding and mudslides, especially in areas of steep terrain. Rainfall amounts expected elsewhere: Nicaragua: additional 1-2 inches Honduras, interior Guatemala, and interior Chiapas in Mexico: 1-2 inches locally 4 inches Coastal Guatamala and Coastal Chiapas in Mexico: 2-4 inches locally 6 inches
