For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Shower and thunderstorm activity continues to show signs of
organization in association with well-defined low pressure system
centered more than 600 miles south of the southern tip of the Baja
California Peninsula.  Environmental conditions are expected to be
conducive for the development of a tropical depression during the
next day or so while the system moves slowly northward or
northeastward.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...high...90 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent.

2. Showers and thunderstorms associated with a broad area of low
pressure located about 1500 miles southwest of the southern tip of
the Baja California peninsula remain disorganized.  Any development
during the next few days should be slow to occur while the
disturbance moves toward the west or west-northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...10 percent.

3. An area of disturbed weather is located about 1000 miles southwest
of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula.  Some
development of this system is possible, although it could be limited
due to the proximity of the larger disturbance to the east.

* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent.
