For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Shower activity associated with a tropical wave located a few
hundred miles south of Acapulco, Mexico, has become a little better
organized since yesterday.  This disturbance is moving
west-northwestward at about 15 mph, and some additional development
is possible before environmental conditions become less conducive
for tropical cyclone formation by the end of this week.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent.
