For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Off the coast of Central America and Southern Mexico: 
Hurricane Julia is located over the southwestern Caribbean Sea and 
is forecast to cross portions of Central America late tonight 
and Sunday.  Although the system is forecast to dissipate over the 
extreme eastern Pacific in two to three days, environmental 
conditions appear conducive for some development of the remaining 
disturbance as it passes to the south of southern Mexico by the 
middle of next week.  More information on Hurricane Julia can 
be found on the web at hurricanes.gov.
