For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

Active Systems:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane 
Bonnie, located a couple of hundred miles south of southwestern 
Mexico.

1. 1.  Offshore of Southern Mexico:
A broad area of low pressure is expected to form well southwest of 
the coast of southern Mexico toward the end of the week.  
Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for gradual 
development of this system over the weekend while it moves 
generally west-northwestward.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent.
