For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Shower activity has decreased in association with a weak area of 
low pressure located about a thousand miles west-southwest of the 
southern tip of the Baja California peninsula.  Since the low is 
now moving over cooler waters, development is not expected while it 
moves slowly west-northwestward at 5 to 10 mph.
