For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Disorganized cloudiness and showers located several hundred miles
south-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula
are associated with an elongated area of low pressure.  Strong
upper-level winds currently over the system are forecast to increase
and become even less conducive for development during the next day
or so while the disturbance moves westward to west-northwestward at
10 to 15 mph.
